1. What cookies and similar technologies are

Cookies are small files a website may store on your device. Similar technologies include local storage, pixels and advertising identifiers. This page covers them together, as required by European cookie rules.

2. Applicable law

For users in Europe, the main rules are:

  • the ePrivacy Directive (2002/58/EC) and national implementing laws;
  • the GDPR (EU 2016/679), for personal data collected via cookies;
  • in Italy, the Garante cookie guidelines (10 June 2021);
  • in Spain (controller’s seat) AEPD guidance; in France CNIL guidance; in Germany the TDDDG (formerly TTDSG).

In practice: strictly necessary cookies may be used without consent. All others (advertising, non-anonymous analytics, profiling) need prior, free, specific and withdrawable consent. Scrolling or “by continuing to browse” is not valid consent.

3. How we ask for consent

ToolPixy uses CookieYes, a consent-management platform (CMP) compatible with IAB Europe’s TCF, which Google requires for personalised ads in the EEA, UK and Switzerland.

The banner lets you:

  • accept all non-essential categories;
  • reject them;
  • choose category by category;
  • see purposes and vendors (Google and AdSense/TCF partners).

Reject is as easy to reach as accept. You can change your mind at any time from this page or the banner button.

Your choice is stored in a CookieYes technical cookie, usually for 12 months. If we change purposes or vendors in a material way, we must ask again.

4. If you refuse

ToolPixy’s tools still work: file processing happens in the browser and does not depend on advertising cookies. Without consent AdSense is not loaded: no advertising cookies and no ads. The tools still work as usual.

5. Categories we use

Necessary (no consent)

They make the site work, remember your cookie choice and, if you pick one, the language. Without them the banner could not operate lawfully.

Advertising (consent required)

Google AdSense and partners may set cookies to show, measure and personalise ads, cap frequency and fight fraud.

Analytics and preferences

ToolPixy does not currently install Google Analytics or other first-party analytics trackers. If we add them later, they will appear on this page and in the CookieYes panel and stay off until you consent.

6. Technologies used by ToolPixy

List updated on 6 September 2026. Google’s advertising partners may change: the live list is in the CookieYes panel.

Google and its partners may set additional cookies. Exact names and durations are decided by Google and shown in the banner and at policies.google.com/technologies/cookies.

7. Google AdSense

The AdSense script (publisher ca-pub-3554110167828425) is on the pages, but it does not run before consent: CookieYes keeps it blocked (advertisement category) and Google Consent Mode v2 starts with storage/profiling set to denied.

If you accept advertising cookies, CookieYes unlocks AdSense and signals consent to Google. If you refuse, AdSense is not loaded. When allowed, ads may be personalised or non-personalised depending on consent, country and Google settings.

More: Google privacy · data from partner sites · AdSense.

8. Third-party technical libraries (not marketing cookies)

Some tools load libraries from CDNs (cdnjs, jsDelivr, unpkg) so PDF, OCR (Tesseract) or fonts work. They run the job in your browser. We do not use them to profile you. The CDN provider may still see the technical request (IP, browser), as with any external resource.

9. PayPal

The “Buy us a coffee” button opens PayPal only if you click it. PayPal’s own notice and cookies then apply. ToolPixy does not control them.

10. How to manage or delete cookies

  • from the button at the top of this page or the CookieYes banner;
  • from your browser settings (clear cookies and site data; private browsing);
  • for Google ads: adssettings.google.com and, where available, Your Online Choices / EDAA.

Turning off necessary cookies may show the banner on every visit or stop the language from being remembered.

11. Transfers outside the EEA

CookieYes and Google may process data in the United States or other countries. GDPR safeguards apply (adequacy, SCCs or equivalent), as described in their privacy policies.

12. Your rights

For access, erasure, objection and other GDPR rights see the Privacy Policy or write to ask@toolpixy.com. Complaints: AEPD (Spain) or your national data-protection authority.

13. Updates

We will update this page if cookies, providers or the law change. The date is at the top.
